SporkCMS and Sparrow
Last week I cleaned up a CodeIgniter based CMS I developed called SporkCMS and open-sourced it. My entire goal with this CMS is to just share my work and to give people a good CMS that is easily extended to their needs. While technically version 3.0, the CMS was released as Version 0.01 Public last week on both Git and SVN repositories since it was the first public release. I'm already working on Version 0.02 which features a fresh new design, overhauled modules, a more helpful dashboard, and blogging features. As I want people to know about SporkCMS I've started working on a marketing site which will be running on version 0.02, and will also have a issue tracking system; which brings me to the second part of this post.
Sparrow is an open-source issue tracking system that will be available shortly after the SporkCMS marketing site goes live. Sparrow will be available via both SVN and Git repositories just like SporkCMS and will receive it's own marketing site. More details on Sparrow will be posted as it gets closer to launching.
